You don't want to think about it, you don't want to think about anything icky which might disturb you in the pursuit of your true occupation:  lying on the couch with a remote control in one hand and a lite beer in the other surfing the 10,000 channel MTV-multimedia-convergent-internet-ready brain-soaking info-tainment network as you shovel home-delivery pizza and twinkies and 500 varieties of Burger-King-flame-broiled soft sweet meaty fodder down your ever-widening throat!

And we wouldn't want to interrupt that, now would we?

But I'm here to tell you, you are in terrible danger and if you don't get up now and take action it will soon be too late!

I know, you don't see a problem around you so you think everything's fine.

Life seems pretty good to you.

True, you may think to yourself, maybe my life is a tad passive but I'm simply enjoying the benefits of being a member of the planet's dominant species.  I'm the top of the food chain (you think!), that's just the way it goes.  It isn't as if much is being asked of me in return.

And that is precisely where you couldn't be more wrong!

The obvious nature of what is going on is so pervasive, and you have been so inundated by it, that you are no longer capable of seeing what is right in front of your nose!  You no longer see the subtle way you are being pushed, prodded and brainwashed into doing exactly what they want you to do.

Yes, there is a "they" and yes, they have plans for you!
